Euro Bat

Despite two unexpected, unrelated repairs, I have started to fettle the Eurobat.  The fuz is VERY tail heavy, even with the engine, cowl, prop, spinner and U/C in place it still wants to dramatically dip its tail.  It seems to have landed heavily on top of the Perma Grit factory and the underside had to be replaced. I am going to remove the rear fuz underside, it seems to be made of 3/16″ ply. I will replace it with 1/8″ lite-ply and cut lightning holes on the sides and bottom.

The wing, like the rest of the model, requires re-covering but seems to be sound.  It has strip ailerons, maybe it would benifit from cutting into ailerons & flaps??  See how it flies during POC.
