Yet another Laser, a 62!

This time with stripped threads in the crank-case.

Drilling out for HelicoilSo here we are drilling out the damaged thread in the lathe using the lathe milling vice and clamp to maintain total accuracy.

Tapping for HelicoilAfter drilling out the old thread, tap the hole using the tap in the 4BA Helicoil kit.

Helicoil in applicator toolThe 4BA Helicoil is tiny.

Inserting the HelicoilThen screw in the Helicoil insert using the tool supplied.

It Works!It works!

The engine is cleaned out and back together ready for it’s test run.
